Rookwood Village Cafe

Dispite the setting this little gem of a cafe will surprise. Good food. Fresh salad and lovely hot tasty coffee. Situated next to a florist shop which had an odd stale flower in a vase water smell, unfortunate but hopefully just a one off day.

Ordered fish and chips - 2 very small thin pieces of battered fish.

Most annoying was it was a very hot day - way over 30C. We rang and asked for an inside table and were assured one would be reserved. We turned up and discovered the 'inside' table was actually undercover outside. Had we known, we would have gone somewhere else with air-conditioning.

Rule no. 1 - don't lie to customers.
